This design is contemporary but unconventional. Lush, workable spaces used for entertaining guests, storage and ample ambient/ and task lighting. This kitchen based in the heart of Nelson, has a bit of everything. Our client requested that her kitchen island bench be her stand out feature, whilst the rest of her kitchen be hard wearing for every day use. Lighting features were also important to our client for task and ambiance in the evenings.

Benchtops: 6mm Stainless Steel (prepping bench). Stained solid Elm timber island benchtop. Shark nose/negative shark nose details on island bench.

Cabinetry: Stained American Oak Crown Cut veneer panels and drawer fronts. Warm white melamine back cabinet doors and drawer fronts. Beveled finger pull drawers

Lighting: Task lighting/ambient light features with dimmable strip lighting all the way around island.
